Cricketer Wasim Akram remembered his fans as he turned 50 years old today.
The left-arm pacer took to Twitter to thank his friends and fans for the birthday wishes he received.

Born on the 3rd of June 1966 in Lahore, he began his cricketing career in the 80s and retired in the year 2003. He remained the ‘King of Swing’ throughout his 19-year long career. He is considered to be a core player in the team that bagged the world cup for Pakistan in 1992.
In his cricketing career that spanned over almost two decades Wasim has taken 916 international wickets and to date continues to be an inspiration to aspiring cricketers.
Post retirement then he commentates various national and international matches and has also served as the bowling coach for the Shahrukh Khan owned IPL team, Kolkata Knight Riders.
