PAF war exercises conclude at Nur Khan Base

Tempest-2, war exercises held by Pakistan Air Force (PAF) at Nur Khan Air Base concluded after the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) and chiefs of all the three armed forces reviewed the battle capabilities of the force.

While delivering an address, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman said that all the three armed forces of the country have the best operational preparations to face both internal and external challenges.

Aman said that the air force played a vital role in the Operation Zarb-e-Azb alongside other forces. Correlation between all three chiefs of armed forces was at its best in regard to the operation, he said.

Chairman Joint Chief of Army Staff Committee General Rashid Mehmood said that such exercises will help the personnel learn advanced war tactics.

Spokesperson for the air force said that the exercise helped gauge organisation’s capability to attend to any call-of-need in the future.

The exercises are vital for the operational planning of the Pakistan Air Force, he added.
