Six killed in two incidents of violence

At least six persons were killed and two wounded in two separate incidents on Thursday, police said.

At least three persons were killed and two others wounded when workers of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) exchanged firing over the issue of party flag hosting on Charsadda road.

According to police, the political workers opened fire at each other after an argument over the hosting of their respective party flags in PK-8 on Charsadda road.

According to SSP Bangash, a man and his son were among three killed in the firing.

Separately, three persons of a family were shot dead in Yaqatoot area of Peshawar over a domestic dispute.

SHO Yaqatoot Police Station said that Mohammad Ghani shot dead three persons including Islam Shah, his wife and daughter over a domestic dispute in Afridi Abad area
