The Pakistan Army has introduced a new facility of mobile hospital in Lahore Garrison to cater to the health needs of the residents of Cantt.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the custom-built mobile dispensary has been developed as part of the Health Outreach Convenience Programme of Combined Military Hospital (CMH) Lahore.
The roving hospital comprises a four wheeler with multiple medical facilities, including both male and female army doctors, laboratory, pharmacy and an operation theatre for minor cases.
The mobile hospital will visit various colonies of Cantt on weekly basis to provide on-the-spot medical support.
This welfare project is yet another step to supplement the already existing capacity of CMH Lahore and Garrison Medical Centres. The project will cater the health needs of even greater number of residents in a shorter time span with hassle-free environment without compromising the quality and standards.
