The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested a human trafficker and recovered fake passports and computerised national identity cards (CNICs) on Tuesday.
According to FIA sources, the operation was conducted in Basti Cheena Wali, Gujranwala over public complaints.
During crackdown, the police arrested human trafficker Matloob Hussain having his name in Red Book and involved in sending dozens of people abroad through illegal means.
The FIA have started an investigation against the detainee human smuggler and more arrests were expected as interrogation will proceed.
