Hot weather to continue in most parts of country today: Met Dept

Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) on Wednesday forecasts weather to remain mainly very hot and dry in most parts of the country including Lahore.

According to reports, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Hyderabad, Quetta divisions, south Punjab (Multan, Bahawalpur, DG Khan divisions) and Islamabad will remain in the grip of intense heat.

Dust raising winds are also expected in Multan, Bahawalpur, Quetta, Mirpurkhas and Hyderabad divisions.

Mid-night breeze beat the heat in different parts of Punjab however, plains in Sindh are witnessing hot weather.

On the other hand, the weather experts have also predicted rain with a thunderstorm in Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Gujranwala, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir on Friday.
