Deadlock over Panama Leaks ToRs not in govt’s favour, says Khurshid Shah

Opposition Leader in National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah said that the deadlock over the terms of reference (ToRs) regarding Panama leaks is not in favour of the government.

While talking to media in Parliament House on Wednesday, Shah reiterated that the matter of Panama Leaks should be investigated.

He said that the opposition does not want to take politics to streets but if the deadlock on ToRs remained, they will be forced to take the step.

He said that he will talk to NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq in this matter.

The opposition leader said that Aitzaz Ahsan has informed him of the progress of parliamentary committee.

About Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar’s criticism on Bilawal Bhutto, Shah said that Bilawal, Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto are recognised people whereas the relatives of other people are not even known to their own neighbours.
