Beat your wives lightly

Husbands can ‘lightly’ beat their wives if they disobey, according to a controversial recommendation made by council of islamic ideology (CII) in Pakistan in its new women protection bill.
Women in Pakistan have fought for their rights for decades, in a country where so-called honour killings and acid attacks remain commonplace.
The proposal includes step-by-step guidelines on how men are to beat their wives. The document does suggest that violence be used only as a last resort for a wife’s disobedience. The CII suggests that any man who doesn’t follow the processes should be prosecuted.
Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) never beats his wives at all or mistreated them in any way; in fact he said that “The best of you is the one who is best to his wife”. What is being portrayed is not true Islam. As Arthur Clarke stated, “One of the greatest tragedies in mankind’s entire history may be that morality was hijacked by religion”.
After this bill is proposed people are diverted from panama leaks, which adds a political influence in this matter.
