An anti-corruption court on Monday issued non-bailable arrest warrants of three Afghan nationals and three National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) officials for providing the Afghan citizens with national identity cards (NICs).
The Afghan nationals whose arrests were ordered have been identified as Bashir, Shabbir and Shabana, and the accused NADRA officials as Faisal, Hidayat and Abdul Qadir.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) reported that the accused NADRA officials had issued NICs to around 256 Afghan nationals in 2016.
