Allegations and Accusations

It is astonishing to note that the name of the Central Deputy Information Secretary of PPP, Sharjeel Inam Memon, has been enlisted in the Exit Control List while he is in abroad. The allegations that were allegedly levelled against him about the recovery of huge amount from his house and the accusation of rampant corruption have now been endorsed as baseless by many media channels. Everybody knows that he runs the large number of business companies here in this country and abroad too. How can he commit such mega corruption in spite of vast business? If such hefty amount was found from his house then why it had not been exposed to media personnel like how, a few days ago, large wads of cash recovered from Balochistan Finance Secretary’s residence and was categorically aired by every media channel. It is quite clear that there was no such sort of money recovered from the residence of Sharjeel Inam Memon.

Attempts have been made to malign him so that he may not work with full devotion and true spirit. This is a new web of conspiracy being woven around him and his innocent family. He is the man who has never abetted any criminal act rather he has served his people enormously. He has given his full measure in order to serve his people and is so much committed to his work that one cannot deny his relentless services to the cause of the poor people, the country and the PPP. We, the inhabitants of Pakistan and avid activists of the Pakistan People’s Party, strongly reject such spurious allegations and urge the authorities concerned vehemently to look into the matter, exonerate all such allegations levelled against him, exclude his name from the ECL and immediately allow him to come to his native country so that he may resume his services with full-fledged zeal and zest.
