It has become a daily spectacle, some TV channel or other showing the plight of the poor people of Karachi desperate for every drop of water, on the other hand, in a few weeks time, we will have more water than we can handle, but this water will be flowing in a river on its way to the sea out of reach of the desperate people,
In the plains of Sindh they have no place where they can store this life saving water for later use, and if we ask them to let us store this water in a dam which can be built only in the mountains, they will refuse.
Their ignorant leaders have not told them that this water stored anywhere on the Indus, in any province, will find its way to Kotri barrage and from there to Karachi to end their unending misery.
But why blame only the politicians? Even the editors and anchor persons will not pass on this easily verifiable information to their readers and viewers for fear that their circulation and rating will suffer.
