PCB skill camp commences in Lahore

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Monday (today) kicked off weeklong skill camp in Lahore aimed at training players for upcoming England Test series.

The skill camp will continue till June 5.

On the other hand, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the final squad for upcoming England Test series in the first week of June.

Mickey Arthur, the Head Coach of the team, will also join the players during the camp.

Earlier, Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team Inzamam-ul-Haq announced 21 players shortlisted for the England tour.

Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Team Inzamam-ul-Haq said that 21 players for the England tour were shortlisted on the basis of past and recent performances.

The selected players include Muhammad Hafeez, Sami Aslam, Iftikhar Ahmad, Azhar Ali, Khurram Manzoor, Shan Masood, Younis Khan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Asad Shafiq, Akbar-ur-Rehman, Asif Zakir, Muhammad Amir, Rahat Ali, Imran Khan, Sohail Khan, Junaid Khan, Ehsan Adil, Sarfraz Ahmad, Muhammad Rizwan, Yasir Shah and Zulfiqar Babar.

The first Test match would be played on July 14.
