The Pakistan Railways announced a special relief package for the masses during the holy month of Ramadan and decreased its fares from 10 to 25%.

This was decided in a meeting of high-ups of Pakistan Railways held with the chair of Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq. This facility would be only for those passengers, who intend to reserve their seats in advance booking.

The spokesperson of PR said that the decision to reduce the fares has been made only to ensure a provision of affordable travel facilities to the people during the holy month of Ramadan.

“The fares of Baha-ud-Din Zakaria Express, Mosa Pak and Mehar Express have been decreased up to 25%, while the fares of Karachi Express, Pak Business, Jaffar Express, Green Line, Karakoram Express, Khyber Mail, Allama Iqbal and Tezgam have been reduced up to 10%,” the spokesperson added

  1. Saad Rafiq, you’re certainly an exceptional Minister to have largely fixed Pakistan Railways. I consider you as coveted Lalu Parasad of Pakistan, Lalu fixed Indian Railways and his achievements are a case study at Harvard Business Review. I’m waiting when you the son of illustrious Kh-Rafiq will also have recognition in the HBR.

  2. I do not know what are they improving. I am unable to search official website for Pakistan railway. Such a shame…
