A local court Monday (today) has issued arrest warrants of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Sheikh Rohail Asghar and his driver Zulfiqar in the security guard murder case.
According to the details, arrest warrants have been issued for Sheikh Rohail Asghar and his suspected accomplice Zulfiqar for not presenting themselves before the court on Monday.
Judicial Magistrate Humayun Dilawar conducted the hearing of the case in which the suspects were to be indicted.
Earlier, the court had accepted Sheikh Rohail Asghar’s bail against Rs. 200,000.
The defendants’ lawyer explained that the surety bonds have to be submitted in cash for which the amount has yet to be taken out from the bank, therefore; time should be granted to them for this procedure.
The judge remarked that why the amount was not withdrawn before and adjourned the hearing for an indefinite period.
Reportedly, PML-N MNA Sheikh Rohail Asghar has been accused of murdering a security guard in Islamabad.
The case has been registered against Asghar by the widow of the security guard.
