At least five people fell unconscious after consuming toxic sweets on Friday.
Sources said that the condition of five people, belonging to Sultan Colony of district Muzaffargarh, deteriorated after consuming sweets which turned toxic due to unknown reasons.
The unconscious were shifted to the hospital where two people with critical condition were referred to Nishtar Hospital Multan.
Earlier, about two dozen people died of toxic sweets in Layyah a couple of weeks ago.
