The Dera Ismail Khan police on Thursday foiled a terror bid to blow up a bus terminal located in the centre of the city.
Police and bomb disposal squad rushed to the scene and defused the explosive material weighing 2 kg planted at the terminal. The police also arrested some suspects; however, their identity was not disclosed immediately.
The security at the entry and exit points of the city was beefed up following the discovery of the explosives.
