It appears WAPDA electricity complaint office is not operating in times of emergency. Last night my House had electricity breakdown of one phase. The whole night UPS was running while fans were running. The telephone no. 99264054 was not attended whole night. It was reported that telephone operator was on leave and no alternate person was available. It shows that WAPDA system is breaking down while no one listens to emergency calls at night which is not
excusable. High level enquiry is required in non attendance of emergency calls which can be highly dangerous in emergency cases. This is more true in case of power failure in Lahore Cantt. One must be found responsible in such gross negligence by state employees in such cases of mismanagement.
