The All Sindh Private Schools Association (ASPSA) has urged the provincial government to let them open their private schools for three more days till Thursday so that they could finish their activities.

While addressing a press conference along with other members of association at Karachi Press Club, ASPSA Chairman Haider Ali said that dozens of private schools were opened on Friday but only 46 schools were targeted by canceling their registration.

The ASPSA demanded of the department of education to give them relaxation up to Thursday for completing ‘children’s work’. Later, they would announce their summer vacations on Saturday.

Earlier, the Sindh education department had announced that all the educational institutions, government and private in the province, will remain closed from May 20th till July 25th in the wake of extremely hot weather. However, many private schools rejected the government’s directions. Parents allege that these private schools want to charge fees from them for the closed months of June and July which is illegal.
