The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) again raided the office of Foreign Ministry on Tuesday and recovered documents related to a property belonging to detained Foreign Ministry official Shafqat Cheema.
According to NAB officials, Cheema admitted before his investigators that he owned a 111-kanal property in Gujranwala which was worth millions of rupees.
During the raid, the documents related to the property were recovered from a friend of Cheema.
The officials said that two travel agents were likely to be arrested in connection with the corruption scandal.
The NAB had on May 17 apprehended Cheema, a Foreign Office director, for his involvement in human smuggling and for possessing assets beyond known sources of income.
