I want to draw the attention of Baluchistan government to provide better state of education in Gwadar, which is showing a very disappointing result. The poor and the girls are deprived from lack of access to quality education and thousands of people are being involved in poverty. The government has promised to involve the local people of Gwadar in its development project by providing jobs and other opportunities, however, there has still not been any step taken regarding this since the establishment of the seaport in 2004. The more alarming issue is a lack of funds, as the government is not sincere about the education in Gwadar. Some schools have been established but due to ignorance of good quality education, no change has occurred in education. The children – especially girls – are far away from education, as no technical institutions, medical colleges and other schools are established to provide education to the citizens. The federal government should take solid steps to provide better education system for the young generation of Gwadar.
