Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif met Chief of General Staff Czech Republic Armed Forces General Josef Becvar at the General Headquarters in the Garrison City Tuesday (today).
“During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including regional security situation and measures to enhance defence cooperation between both the countries were discussed,” the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) statement said.
General Josef also lauded the army’s efforts in Operation Zarb-e-Azb measures to bring peace and stability in the region, the ISPR said.
Upon arrival, the Czech Republic Armed Forces chief was presented a guard of honour by a batch of Pakistan army soldiers.
