A police constable was killed and another was injured, when some unidentified armed men opened fire at a police mobile in Sangota area near Swat on Tuesday.
According to DPO Swat Saleem Marwat, the police mobile was on a routine patrol when unidentified attackers opened fire at it. The dead and injured cops were shifted to Saidu Sharif Teaching Hospital. The attackers managed to escape from the scene after the incident.
A heavy contingent of police and security forces reached the spot, cordoned off the area and launched a search operation.
