YDA protests in DHQ Hospital over pay delay in Faisalabad

Young Doctors Association (YDA) has boycotted work in District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) on Monday over non-payment of wages and other demands.

The strike has come in a day after nurses in Multan’s Nishtar Hospital called off a protest following the sacking of superintendent nurse for alleged misbehaviour and scarf ban in the premises.

On the other hand, in Quetta, medics’ protest has stepped on the 21st day today against a delay in the provision of due salaries. Patients are facing different issues as outpatient departments (OPD) are shut.

Young Doctors Association has warned the government of staging a sit-in outside Punjab Assembly if their demands are not met May 25.

Staffers in Peshawar’s Lady Reading Hospital have also boycotted different routinely affairs seeking government’s attention for their demands.
