Allow me to recall for you that the Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif, a few days back instructed the budget makers to pay special consideration to the old pensioners while making increases in their pension. This he deemed necessary because he knew that the old pensioners, who had more than 20 years of retired life to their credit, were the most hard hit of the lot while calculating the so called double pension.
