The nursing staff of Multan’s Nishtar Hospital continued its protest against ill-behaviour of the superintendent nurse and a ban on scarf for the fifth consecutive day on Saturday.
The protesting nurses, while holding placards and banners, blocked Nishtar Road for traffic and raised slogans against the authorities.
The nurses also boycotted their duties and accused the superintendent nurse of hindering them from wearing scarf and for not allowing them to take leave in case of emergency.
The protesters also said that nurses wanted to study further but the head nurse was not permitting them to do so.
The nurses demanded to replace superintendent nurse Kokab and warned of continuing protest until their demands were not fulfilled.
