KT (Satire): High Sparrow condemns Motiur Rahman execution in Bangladesh

By Our Westeros Correspondent

The High Sparrow on Saturday condemned the execution of Bangladesh Jamat-e-Islami leader Motiur Rahman Nizami.

“This is a terrible injustice to a devout man of God,” said the High Sparrow. “We condemn this shameful execution of his at the hands of a ghastly secular government.”

Sources in King’s Landing added that the High Sparrow has “requested” King Tommen, First of His Name, for the ambassador of the Seven Kingdoms to Bangladesh to be recalled with immediate effect.

“The notification has already been made; it is only a matter of the raven getting there. You know how it is,” said a source, on the condition of anonymity.

The High Sparrow is the second international leader after President Erdogan of Turkey to have reacted publicly like this to the development.

“Actually, this is the first time someone from Westeros is getting involved with an international incident, even though many international leaders have been vocal about developments there,” said Professor Ghulam Nabi, of the International Relations department, over the Quaid-e-Azam University, Islamabad. Examples of the same are the severing of diplomatic relations by Afghanistan over the treatment towards the Wildings despite the clear White Walker threat, the trade embargo by Japan over the execution of Lord Eddard Stark and President Mamnoon Hussain’s public cry of “Nooooooo!!!” at Queenmother Cersei Lannister’s walk of shame.
