Actor Salman Khan said that he would reveal his marriage plan directly to fans through Facebook or Twitter.
In an interview, Salman denied the marriage speculations saying, “These are just rumors as you said yourself. If I had got engaged or was getting married, I wouldn’t wait for the news to leak out.”
“I would announce it myself, it would be a proud moment for me, (Thode hi main chup rahoonga) like those yesteryear stars who hid their wives thinking that it would lessen their fan following. I know the whole country would be happy for me,” he added.
Khan’s remarks came after his brother Sohail Khan reportedly abused a journalist when he and their father Salim Khan were asked questions about Salman’s marriage outside a restaurant.
“He (Sohail) didn’t misbehave. At 12 in the night, you are asking my father when am I getting married. You’re putting mics and cameras to his face. He is 80-year-old. What is that?” he said.
According to Indian media, rumors are rife that Salman Khan will wed Iulia Vantur, a Romanian news presenter.
