Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan is considering to invite Afghanistan to play in Quetta, capital of Balochistan, in the wake of improved law and order situation in the provincial capital.
He was accompanied by Secretary General Quetta Region, Noman Mashkoor and PCB Coordinator, Abdul Qayyum, during a press conference at Bugti Cricket Stadium Quetta.
Shaharyar stated that Afghanistan has shown consent to send their cricket team to Pakistan.

Khan revealed PCB plans to establish cricket academies in Quetta and Peshawar to search for prospective talent in the cities.
He also urged Baloch youth to focus on education.
“A cricketer must be educated as it is the need of the hour,” he remarked.
The chairman further added that governor Balochistan, Mohammad Achakzai and chief minister Balochistan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, had been requested to construct new cricket stadiums in Quetta and other cities of the province.
