Two people were hit by trains in different areas of the city on Monday.
According to rescue sources, Naeem’s son Qudus, 10, a resident of Star Gate, was hit by a train when he was crossing the track in Malir area. The boy died on the spot. The body was taken to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
In another incident, a 30-year-old unidentified man died when he was hit by a train while crossing the train track near Zafar Town in Landhi area of Karachi, rescue sources said. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
