The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Wednesday said that elections for mayor, deputy mayor, chairman and vice-chairman of local bodies will be held across Sindh on June 8.
According to the ECP, returning officers (ROs) will issue a public notice on May 20 after which candidates for the post of mayor, deputy mayor, chairman and vice chairman could submit their nominations on May 23 and 24.
The process for the scrutiny of nomination papers will be completed from May 25 to 26. The candidates will be able to withdraw their nomination papers till May 31.
The final list of candidates will be released on June 1.
The polling for mayors, deputy mayors, chairman and vice chairman will be held on June 08, with which the election process for local bodies in Sindh will be completed.
