Intelligence agencies on Wednesday issued an alert hinting at threats to the life of officials of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Sindh probing high-profile corruption cases.
The alert specifically mentioned threats to the life of NAB Sindh officials investigating Dr Asim case and land grabbing in the city. The agencies forwarded the alert to the Sindh home department, inspector general (IG) Sindh, NAB, Rangers and the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD).
The authorities concerned were advised to take measures to preempt any untoward incident.
