The mysterious death of an eight-year-old girl resulted in protest demonstrations on Wednesday. The ill-fated girl was found dead from a water tank near her house.
The girl identified as Darshana, daughter of Saroon Bajeer, had gone missing the other day from Bajeer Street situated in Chachro Road area of the Umerkot. She was recovered dead from a water tank near her house. Rescue workers shifted the body to a local hospital for an autopsy and later it was handed over to their relatives. The girl’s father told to media persons that he had no enmity with anyone. He requested the law enforcement agencies to arrest his daughter’s murderers immediately.
