Army trainers advise national players to reduce weight

The army trainers during ongoing fitness camp at Kakul Academy have advised the national players to reduce their weight, a private TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The players were asked to climb up high places during the boot training camp. Players were also made to hold a one mile running in six minutes which was won by Younus Khan and Shan Masood only.

Players are working hard to improve their batting, fielding as well as bowling skills so that they can easily defeat England.

Meanwhile, Fawad Alam was declared fit after push-ups task.

On the other hand, players Misbah-ul-Haq and Younus Khan also failed to finish the provided tasks by Pakistan Army officials.

Former skippers Mohammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi missed their fitness tests due to injuries.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) will announce the final squad for upcoming England Test series in the first week of June.

The first Test match would be played on July 14.
