Many parts of the country sweated through its hottest day of the year on Wednesday with the maximum temperature fluctuating at 51°C in different towns and cities.
Larkana and Sibbi sizzled at 51°C.
The highest temperature recorded in Lahore was 46°C, Karachi sizzled at 38°C and Quetta 37°C.
According to Met Department, gusty winds, accompanied by thunderstorms, are expected in upper parts of the country, which will help bring down the temperature between two and three degrees Celsius.
