Taher Shah is a man who likes to do things properly and extensively. After letting loose his music video Angel in the world, he gave us the philosophy behind the song and now *ba dum tuss* the making of the song.
This meme makes so much sense right now…

Set to the music one last heard in people’s wedding videos from the 80s, the making gives us behind the scenes view of how Taher made a tree run.
Even the tree was running from this?? #TaherShah #MankindAngel pic.twitter.com/S9zu8Nvm60

On the plus side, there are no memorable lyrics like: ‘Ayyngal, Ayyngal, Mankind’s Ayyngal’. But there is still Taher in the plus size purple robe, angel’s wings and a tiara.
So, what more does the making of the song offer you which the song itself didn’t? Other than a world of pain, it shows you the angelic mummy, papa and beta walking on grass in their trailing gowns/robes. It also has a drone and many close-ups of Taher and the kid.
There are shots of Taher getting his make-up done and taking decisive decisions while standing under a white umbrella. And those shiny wings.
Taher breaks his silence and shares wisdom about stars, flowers and angels in the making too. He says: “All angels remain quiet like those flowers that stay silent but spread their essence and always reside jovial.” One more question: Why couldn’t he simply have followed the example of those *silent* angels?
Watch the making of the song below.
If you have just found Taher Shah, here’s who he is: He sings, writes, conceptualises and features in his own songs, and has a penchant for the bizarre and the weird. Before Angel, he gave us another onslaught on our senses: Eye to Eye.
