Lahore High Court (LHC) has sought reply on May 11, from University of Health Sciences (UHS) Vice Chancellor on a writ petition filed against him, demanding various details regarding the matters of the university.

The petitioner named Dr Qasim Rashid filed a petition through his counsel advocate Imran Arshad Naro in which he stated that it is the right of every candidate to know the criteria of entry test adopted by the UHS. He also said that the research methods adopted by the university do not meet the quality standards of the research.

He stated that he himself approached the VC to know the entry test criteria but he was not provided any information.

The petitioner alleged that two of the published articles of the VC were based on plagiarism while four articles of another professor of UHS, Nadeem Afzal, were also plagiarised. The court ordered the VC to submit reply within 30 days.
