Indian website’s attempt to point mistake in Pakistan’s flag backfires

A leading Indian online news portal ScoopWhoop posted an article titled “In 69 Years Of Independence, Has Nobody Noticed This Glaring Error In Pakistan’s National Flag?” in an attempt to point out an error in the Pakistani flag on Saturday.

The website claimed that there was a “scientific inaccuracy” in the flag as the star is positioned incorrectly.

The article read: “We’re not saying that we’re better than Pakistan but we’ll let the results of different wars between the two countries decide that. We can also use the head-to-head stats in Cricket World Cups but we’re better than that.

Flag Toh Design Ho Nahi Paata, Kashmir Lene Chale Hai!” (Can’t even design a flag but want to take Kashmir back!)

Surprisingly, though, ScoopWhoop‘s own readers took offense to the ridiculous post, lashing out at the website for disrespecting the Pakistani flag and unnecessarily dragging Kashmir into the debate.

The article was removed within an hour.
