At least 40 students of a government school fell unconscious due to intense hot weather and were hospitalised.
Assistant Commissioner (AC) Shahab Khan said that 40 students of government high school located in Dargai area of Malakand fell unconscious due to heatstroke.
The affected students were shifted to the Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) Hospital for treatment.
Parents of the affected students alleged that they were deployed for welcoming the district education office (DEO) when they suffered heatstroke.
