The concerned authorities have finalised the security plan for the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Dera Ismail Khan scheduled for May 17.
Security sources said that police from various districts other than DI Khan have been summoned to perform duties during the premier’s visit.
A helipad has also been prepared near the venue of the PM’s public meeting, the sources added.
Jamiat Ulema e Islam (JUI-F) has decorated sign boards inscribed with welcome slogans and praising the services of PML-N led federal government for the district.
The citizens of DI Khan are anxiously waiting for the PM’s visit as he is expected to announce mega projects aimed at development and progress of the district.
