All-Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman Syed Ali Geelani has said that Mehbooba Mufti’s puppet regime is advancing the agenda of Hindu extremist organisations in the occupied-Kashmir.

The Jan Sangh forces want to convert the Muslim majority into a minority to forcefully occupy Jammu and Kashmir, he said in Srinagar on Sunday.

Geelani said that since Hurriyat leaders are a problem for them, they are either house arrested or sent to jail on baseless allegations.

APHC leaders, Nayeem Ahmad Khan and Mohammad Shafi Reshi, while addressing public gatherings in Kupwara and Bandipora, strongly rejected the establishment of separate zones for Kashmiri pundits and colonies for Indian soldiers in the territory.

Meanwhile, a court in Srinagar has illegally sent a senior Hurriyat leader Masarrat Aalam Butt to jail on another 14 days judicial remand.
