A woman was assassinated mysteriously inside her house here on Saturday.
According to details, the deceased, Azra Bibi (30), a resident of sector G-7/2, was found dead at her residence. She was shot in the chest. The deceased’s husband was present at the house while she was busy in her domestic job in other room.
“I heard noise of a bullet and as I came out of my room, I found my wife Azra Bibi lying in a pool of blood,” Abdul Qadir said.
He said that neither he saw any person firing the bullet nor any person entering the house.
The Aabpara police said that neither the family of the deceased wanted to register an FIR nor they expressed any suspicions. The body of the deceased was shifted to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) for autopsy.
