Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen on Saturday urged the government to hold negotiations with opposition parties at the earliest to resolve Panama Leaks issue before the upcoming budget.

While talking to media in Multan, Jahangir Tareen said that the PTI does not want to derail democracy; therefore, the ruling party should sit on a table talk with the opposition over Panama Leaks.

He called for investigation against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s family over Panama Papers as the PTI has a clear stance on the matter.

PTI leader said that Terms of References (ToRs) framed by the incumbent government are complicated which can delay the investigation.

Responding to a question, Jahangir Tareen termed PK-8 by-election’s defeat as party’s negligence, and added that a probe into the matter has been launched.
