Police along with Rangers and other security agencies searched around 300 houses and nabbed 30 suspects during a search operation.
According to details, security agencies conducted a search operation in various areas of Shamas police station including Abdullah Town, Gulzar-e-Madina and Khayaban Faiz.
The search operation was headed by SP (Industrial Area) and participated by DSP and SHO Shamas police station during which 300 houses were searched and 30 suspects were arrested. Police also seized arms and ammunitions.
SSP Islamabad Sajid Kiani said the purpose of his search operation and high vigilance is to ensure foolproof security in the city and he further directed all SHOs to continue it.
He also appealed to the citizens to remain vigilant and inform the police in case of any suspicious activity around them.
