Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Raja Riaz Ahmed has decided to join Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
The formal announcement will be made in PTI’s Faisalabad rally on May 20.
Reports said all the issues pertaining to joining PTI have been settled in a meeting with PTI Chief Imran Khan.
Reportedly, Raja Riaz was angry with PPP leadership. A few days back he had claimed that some party stalwarts were trying to push him against the wall.
He went on to say that despite Asif Ali Zardari’s intervention matters could not be resolved swiftly, therefore, he has decided to join Imran Khan’s party.
Riaz had also requested for meeting with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto but could not get time from him.
“I am a political worker and will continue my mission to serve the masses,” he asserted.
