National cricketers’ boot camp is scheduled to start on Saturday at Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) Kakul.
Pakistan cricket team would have to undergo fitness tests under the supervision of the army. The boys are to arrive in Rawalpindi today.
Central contracted players underwent fitness tests at National Cricket Academy (NCA) three days ago. However, Test format skipper, Misbah-ul-Haq could not participate for being in Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah.

According to the sources, the Test captain would take part in the camp in Kakul. It was also reported that Misbah has fallen ill following his return to the country.
The cricketers are required to participate in two-week long boot camp at the military academy before a training camp starts in England ahead of the series.
It should be mentioned here that former skippers Muhammad Hafeez and Shahid Afridi missed their tests at the cricket academy owing to injuries.
