Spanish club Real Madrid has once again topped the list of Forbes richest football clubs in the world.
The ten-time European champions, who will be facing city rivals Atletico Madrid on May 28 in Milan, are valued $3.64 billion by the business magazine.
Real’s arch rivals Barcelona, who have had tremendous success in the past decade, came second with a valuation of $3.54 billion, whereas German champions Bayern Munich are placed fourth in the list with the value of $2.67 billion.
Six English Premier League teams also featured in the top 10, with Manchester United coming third on the table with a valuation of $3.31 billion.
Italian champions Juventus find themselves on the ninth spot, behind the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal, with a value of $1.29 billion.
Surprisingly, the other Champions League finalist Atletico Madrid still hasn’t made it to the top 10 richest club in the world. The club currently find themselves on 15th place, behind the struggling German club Schalke and struggling Italian club AC Milan, with a valuation of $633 million.
