Pakistan’s opening batsman Sharjeel Khan has posted a video on social media today claiming that he is being blackmailed and has been receiving threat calls from unknown entities.
Sharjeel Khan posted a video on Twitter, stating that he has been receiving spam calls from unknown numbers, receiving threats to use his fake videos to defame him and asking for money in return.

Sharjeel in his video stated that the callers have been threatening him to release the ‘fake’ videos of him on social networking sites if he does not pay them money.
He added that in case the videos come to the surface, the public should know that they are fake.
Commenting on the issue, renowned sports journalist Yahya Hussaini stated that he has spoken to Sharjeel Khan on the matter.
Yahya said that Sharjeel believes he will handle this issue on his own and he will inform media and police too regarding the issue if deemed necessary.
