Pollution means corruption. It is the corruption of healthy atmosphere. It is the destruction of the purity or sanctity of something. Man has tried to destroy the sources of nature. Our society has fallen prey to many pollutants as herbicides, pesticides, smoke, dirt and poisonous gasses. In our country, chemical discharges, poisonous fumes and noise are the things which pollute the atmosphere.
The mills, factories and foundries emit smoke, gasses and poisonous fumes and in this very corrupt the atmosphere. This problem has become graver for us because we depend too much on water ways. Our crops, our fields and our forests will soon disappear. Our government should take effective steps to improve the quality of atmosphere. All activities which pollute the atmosphere must be curtailed.
