Pre-production work on Humayun Saeed’s anticipated movie Main Punjab Nahin Jaongi has officially commenced. The movie is going to be a romantic comedy, with Iman Ali as the lead actress.
Not only that, Shani Arshad and Shiraz Uppal have been brought onboard as the music directors so far while well-known cinematographer Salman Razzaq of Bol and Jinnah has also been confirmed as a part of the crew.
The movie has been making news ever since Humayun was spotted location hunting in Europe with his team, director Nadeem Baig of Pyaare Afzal, Jawani Phir Nahin Ani and Dillagi and writer Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar of Pyaare Afzal and Sadqay Tumharay.
Riding high on the success of his last year’s box office hits, Humayun has been receiving acknowledgement for his work at all major award shows held recently. The star was awarded the Best Actor at the ARY Film Awards, as well as the Excellence in Acting [Male] at the Hum Awards.
The shooting of the movie will begin from July 2016.
