The law enforcement agencies on Tuesday arrested four close aides of Uzair Baloch from Karachi.
According to details, the arrests came after Baloch identified his accomplices during investigation.
Security personnel while raiding the areas of Lyari and Memon Goth detained the suspects who were shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
ONE DIES, FOUR HURT
One person was killed and four others seriously injured in different incidents in the metropolis on Tuesday.
According to rescue sources, an unidentified man was killed in a road accident in Sawat Colony area of Baldia Town. The body shifted to Karachi Civil Hospital for treatment.
In another incident, rescue sources informed that a 15-year-old boy, Amjad, son of Sultan, was seriously injured due to burst of tyre near Teen Hatti area of metropolis. He was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for treatment. A 25-year-old youth, Asif, son of Muhammad Iqbal, was injured in a road accident in Sher Shah Colony area of Orangi Town. He was shifted to Karachi Civil Hospital. A 40-year-old woman was injured in a road accident in Lyari. She was shifted to Karachi Civil Hospital for treatment.
NEWBORN FOUND DEAD
The body of a newborn was found in the metropolis on Tuesday.
As per the rescue sources, an unidentified dead body of baby was recovered in the vicinity of Kashmiri Hostel in Nusrat Bhutto Colony. It was shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
